Mr. Carter is a highly accomplished energy professional with over 14 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Carter served a portion of his time at Azure as Vice President Gas Supply managing and negotiating customer contracts and a portion as Vice President of Technical Services, where he managed employee teams and major projects in operations and construction. He has also held prior management positions in Operations and Pipeline Integrity.

Mr. Carter began his midstream career in 2008 with a management role at Laser II. He followed Mr. Berthelot to Laser Northeast Gathering and was instrumental in the construction and operations of major pipelines and facilities in Pennsylvania and New York. When Laser Northeast was sold to Williams Midstream he retained his position with Williams until 2012 when he returned to Texas and re-joined the management team of Azure Midstream.

Mr. Carter is a member of the Natural Gas Society of East Texas, ADAM Dallas, ADAM Houston, North Texas GPA Midstream Association and National Energy Services Association. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Systems Management with a minor in Business from Texas A&M University. Outside of work he cherishes his time with his wife and kids (Liz, Lowry, Jackson and Ace) traveling, hunting, fishing and youth sports. He spends much of his free time coaching his children’s lacrosse, soccer and football teams.
